Dress Code

Golf Course and Driving Range

Only shoes with soft spikes are allowed. Acceptable attire for ladies: Blouses, sport shirts, sweaters, or collarless shirts with appropriate necklines; golf slacks or Bermuda shorts (No Cargo Shorts) with a maximum of 3 inches above the knee. Acceptable attire for men: Sport shirts with collar, shirts tucked in; slacks or Bermuda shorts with a  maximum of 3 inches above the knee.

Tennis

White clothing only, color trim allowed. Only tennis shoes with correct soles may be worn to protect the clay court surface.

Croquet

Clothing must be white. Skirts or shorts can be a maximum of 3 inches above the knee. Only white shoes with soft soles are permitted.

Colony House

Daytime: Club Casual*
Evening (after 6 p.m.): Gentlemen must wear jackets and trousers; ladies are not permitted to wear shorts.

*At Mountain Lake, Club Casual is defined as follows: Gentlemen shall wear collared shirts tucked in, slacks or Bermuda length shorts. Ladies shall wear blouses, sport shirts, sweaters, or collarless shirts with appropriate necklines and dress slacks, Bermuda length shorts, skirts or dresses.

Main Dining Room

Breakfast: Club Casual* 
Dinner: Jacket and tie required.

*At Mountain Lake, Club Casual is defined as follows: Gentlemen shall wear collared shirts tucked in, slacks or Bermuda length shorts. Ladies shall wear blouses, sport shirts, sweaters, or collarless shirts with appropriate necklines and dress slacks, Bermuda length shorts, skirts or dresses.

Pool House

Lunch: Club Casual*
Dinner: Gentlemen shall wear collared shirts tucked in with a jacket (recommended) or sweater and slacks. Ladies shall wear blouses, sports shirts, sweaters or collarless shirts with appropriate necklines; dress slacks, skirts or dresses.

Etiquette

General

It is the responsibility of each Member to know the rules and procedures observed at Mountain Lake. Members are responsible for their own actions and the actions of their family members and guests. 

Cell Phones

Talking on cell phones is not permitted inside or outside any club structure at Mountain Lake with the exception of Colony House guest rooms, personal vehicles and the changing rooms by the swimming pool. This includes, but is not limited to: the Colony House, Pool House, Pro Shop, Tennis Shop, Fitness Center, Airebis, Golf Course, Tennis Courts, and Croquet Courts. Cell phones should be placed on silent mode at all times.  Non-intrusive texting and camera use of a cell phone is permitted anywhere in the Park.

Smoking

All indoor facilities at Mountain Lake are non-smoking environments.

Treatment of Staff

Staff employees are to be treated with dignity, courtesy and respect.  Complaints about staff performance should be brought to the attention of the General Manager.
